Can we talk about mornings?
Mainly how much I think they suck. (Because they totally do).
I'm a frizzy, sweaty, cranky mess that needs at least 30 minutes of silence and alone time before I transition into a functioning human being.
It's why I have a Tassimo. It's why I take long leisurely showers. And it's why I make up for my surly AM demeanour with some kick ass breakfasts.
Because if I can't be a morning person, I can at least be a breakfast person, right?
These peanut butter and oat breakfast bars are vegan, full of protein, and topped a hint of chocolate to make you feel like you're getting a bit of a treat. If you need a nut-free breakfast bar, I've also made this recipe with sunflower butter and they turned out equally delicious.
