I love having pre-made muffins or loaves on hand for lazy morning breakfasts or snacks.
Whole Wheat Banana Bread Recipe
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
3-4 ripe bananas, mashed (I used 4)
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 or so cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375F.
In a large bowl, combine the oil, milk, brown sugar, egg, and banana. Mix until well combined.
Stir in the whole wheat flour and baking powder until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan, and bake for 40-45mins, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
