No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls

And now for something completely different: A raw, vegan, no bake peanut butter ball recipe. Ready in less than 10 minutes (not counting the time it takes to get the damn peanut butter jar open).

No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls

I added chocolate chips, but nearly anything can go in these guys. Dried fruit, like dates and raisins, coconut, crushed nuts, you get the idea. They're completely customizable, and did I mention kid friendly? The boy and I will make at least a few batches of these during spring break next week. (Holy crap - how is it spring break already?!)


No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls

Makes 10

Ingredients
1 to 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
2 teaspoons maple syrup (or honey, but I'm Canadian, so you know. Actually you can skip this completely if you don't want them very sweet)
2/3 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup chocolate chips

Directions
You ready? Because this is very complicated...

Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring until well combined. Roll bite-sized (1.5 inch or 5cm) balls, and store in an air-tight container in the fridge.

  1. Wow, these chocolate chip peanut butter balls look so delicious and so easy to make. I think I would like to put a little more chocolate chips in them.
